Does anyone remember the old MKII rumor about a secret character named "Bones"?

I saw lots of discussions about other Mortal Kombat in-game rumors, but I couldn't seem to find anyone on the 'net talking about "Bones".  "Bones" was an old MKII rumor about the skeleton that hangs by chains on a wall in the Goro's Lair stage.  The rumor was that if you hit down and start when Dan Forden comes out and says "Toasty", "Bones" the skeleton would come down off of the wall to fight you, just like Smoke.  Since Boon and the rest of the MK team have added many of the old MK rumors to the games over the years and in the 2011 release, it had me thinking as to whether or not they have also heard this old MKII rumor and put "Bones" in the newest game.  If I remember correctly "Bones" is still on one of the walls in the newest version of Goro's Lair.  After all, they did bring to life the old MK rumor of Scarlet(Skarlet), and the fatality of the tree in The Living Forest stage that eats your wounded opponent.  Did they also bring to the game the old MKII rumor of knocking an opponent onto one of the hooks in The Dead Pool stage?  The dudes in the background DO lower dudes already on the hooks into the acid!!!  If not, maybe they'll get wind of this blog and add "Bones" in an update, or make him DLC.  MK food for thought!!!
